MOWING CREW LABORER — HARD WORKERS ONLY

Parsons Lawn Care is hiring Mowing Crew Laborers. Read the entire job description before applying.

This is NOT an easy job and it is NOT for everyone.

We are looking for self motivated, physically capable people who actually want to work. You will be outside in the heat, on your feet, and moving for the majority of the day. We work at a fast pace and expect every crew member to pull their own weight.

If you are looking for a job where you can stand around, be on your phone, move at your own pace, or complain every time you’re tired or hot — do not apply.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Primarily operating a weed eater/string trimmer for full mowing routes
• Operating backpack blowers, edgers, and other handheld equipment
• Assisting with residential and commercial mowing
• Loading and unloading equipment and materials
• Mulch, rock, landscape tear-outs, and other physically demanding landscaping work
• Keeping trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized
• Helping the crew finish jobs quickly and correctly

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Show up on time and ready to work
• Work hard without needing to be constantly reminded
• Keep up with the rest of the crew
• Stay off your phone while we’re working
• Take direction and correction without arguing or making excuses
• Be willing to sweat, get dirty, and work in hot weather
• Have reliable transportation to and from work
• Bring a positive attitude and contribute to the crew

• You regularly call off or have trouble showing up on time
• You complain about heat, physical work, or long days
• You need constant breaks
• You expect more money simply for showing up
• You want maximum pay for minimum effort
• You have a problem being told what to do
• You are constantly on your phone

• You aren’t willing to work at a fast pace

EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS, BUT WORK ETHIC MATTERS MORE.

We can teach someone how to run equipment. We cannot teach you to care, show up, or work hard.
