Job Overview
Park Place Church of God has an immediate opening for General Maintenance. As a member of the Church support staff, this position will assist in fulfilling the Park Place Church of God vision and achieving the goals of Park Place Church of God by assisting with general maintenance of assigned Church, Children’s Center and/or Community Center areas, providing a safe, sanitary and comfortable environment for the community, worshippers and employees.
Responsibilities
Assist with general maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Manager; help with set-ups of meeting rooms as directed; lock and unlock buildings, classrooms, meeting spaces and internal access doors as directed; assist with care of grounds, walkways, entrances, and snow removal; assist with pickup and unloading deliveries for the Food Pantry; identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to the Facilities Manager; comply with all safety policies and procedures.

Experience

Education Requirements
High school education or equivalent is highly desired.
Physical Requirements
Job requires ability to move between buildings and around a multiple floor building; work will be indoors and outdoors. Regular stooping, bending, moving and lifting of 50 pounds is required to complete assigned duties.
A lifestyle compatible with the Church of God/Anderson IN is appropriate and expected while at work.
