What You’ll Do
- Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule
- Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently
- Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product
- Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product appearance for consistency
- Maintain a clean, food-safe, and well-organized back-of-house station
- Rotate and stock ingredients, checking for quality and freshness
- Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets
- Flag equipment or supply issues to the General Manager
- Support the team with flexibility and urgency to meet daily goals
- Help train new bakers in recipes and methods as needed
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of experience in bakery production
- Familiarity with baking techniques, recipe execution, and production timing
- Knowledge of food safety, food labeling, and sanitization practices
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification (preferred)
- Confectionery or culinary background a plus
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills
- Team-first attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for hospitality
- Positive energy and a passion for fresh-baked quality
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
