Role Description
Parillon Brothers Construction Corp. is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering successful projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met
- Review and analyze construction contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify field conditions
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, subcontractors, and vendors
- Prepare and track pay applications (AIA) and Schedule of Values (SOV)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Contribute to overall project success and company growth through consistent performance and communication
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management preferred
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanHub, and PlanSwift
- Experience preparing AIA billing and Schedule of Values (SOV)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and sequencing
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
- Certifications such as CCE or PMP are a plus
Early Career Applicants
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with limited full-time experience should have at least one (1) year of relevant externship, co-op, or internship experience in construction estimating or project management.
Applicants who do not meet this experience level may still be considered for an entry-level or internship-based role, with responsibilities and compensation aligned with experience.
