Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and contract administration will drive the successful delivery of complex projects while maintaining excellent communication with clients and teams.
Duties
- Lead project planning efforts by developing detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools.
- Manage all aspects of construction site operations, including supervision of subcontractors and coordination of on-site activities.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor project progress regularly through site visits and schedule updates; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently on-site; conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance standards.
Experience
- Proven experience (15 years) in construction management with a strong background in project coordination on large-scale projects.
- Engineering degree preferred but not required.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of contracts, construction estimating, project scheduling, and time management principles.
- Prior experience with heavy construction projects is preferred; hands-on site experience is highly valued.
Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
