What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Audit & Assurance Associate, you will support and lead audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base. You will help plan engagements, perform and review audit procedures, identify accounting and reporting issues, and communicate directly with client contacts and internal leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading sections of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
- Preparing and reviewing audit documentation for complex accounting areas
- Working directly with client management to obtain information, resolve questions, and keep engagements moving forward
- Identifying opportunities to improve client processes, controls, and reporting
- Researching accounting and auditing guidance as issues arise
- Supporting engagement planning, fieldwork, wrap-up, and financial statement preparation
- Coaching staff and interns through day-to-day audit work
- Using technology and data tools to improve audit quality and provide better client insights
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of recent public accounting audit experience
- CPA, CPA candidate, or CPA eligibility preferred
- Strong understanding of audit methodology, financial statements, and GAAP
- Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and client communication
- Experience supervising or reviewing the work of junior team members
- Interest in continuing to grow into higher-level client service and leadership responsibilities
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
