Job Summary:
Do you love to cook and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen? Steak 'n Shake is looking for a Cook to prepare and cook delicious meals according to our recipes and guest requests.
What You’ll Do:
Cook food items to order, following recipes and guidelines
Use grills, fryers, and ovens safely and efficiently
Mix, season, and prepare ingredients
Ensure food is cooked properly and meets quality standards
Create an atmosphere with Associates and Guests that supports the Golden Rule
What We’re Looking For:
High School diploma or GED
Valid Food Handler’s Card
At least 1 year of high-volume kitchen experience (hot food preferred)
Basic knife and cooking skills
Able to read and speak basic English
Flexible schedule — must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Alcohol License
