Ristorante Paoletti has welcomed guests to our table since 1953. For more than seven decades, this restaurant has been a place where exceptional food, warm hospitality, and a deep sense of place come together to create memories that guests carry with them long after the evening ends. 

Our season runs from mid-April through the beginning of January, after which the restaurant closes for a winter hiatus (mid-January through mid-April).

Because of our loyal clientele, high check averages, and fast-paced environment, our serving staff is highly compensated primarily through tips, earning typically between $65,000 and $105,000 in 8.5 months of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Elevated Guest Service: Provide meticulous, formal table service with a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor.

• Menu Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our culinary offerings, preparation techniques, in order to make confident recommendations.

• Hospitality & Flow: Guide guests seamlessly through their dining experience, expertly managing pacing, order accuracy, and table maintenance.

• Collaboration: Work cohesively with back-of-house staff, food runners, and sommeliers to ensure seamless service execution.

• Compliance & Cleanliness: Maintain pristine dining room aesthetics and strictly adhere to all local food safety and alcohol service regulations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of upscale or fine dining serving experience is highly preferred.

• Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine Italian cuisine.

• Stamina & Schedule: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays throughout the duration of the season.

• Poise Under Pressure: Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced luxury environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.

• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
