Mid-Level Senior Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Senior Tax Accountant to support tax compliance and advisory services for business and individual clients within a tech-enabled accounting and financial operations environment. This is a full-time, hybrid position responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting planning initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams and clients.
As a Mid-Level Senior Tax Accountant, you will work directly with clients and firm leadership to apply federal and state tax regulations, contribute to tax planning efforts, and help identify efficiencies through process improvement and technology. This role supports businesses that have outgrown basic bookkeeping by combining tax execution with broader financial insight using integrated, cloud-based systems.
What You’ll Do:
• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns
• Research and apply federal and state tax regulations to ensure compliance
• Support client tax planning and advisory initiatives
• Collaborate with managers and senior leadership on client engagements
• Assist with process improvements and the use of cloud-based tax and financial technology
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-6 years of public accounting or tax experience
• Experience with tax preparation software and integrated financial systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
