Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process sales and AR adjustments in company system.
- Follow up on other items that may need an adjustment as well.
- Work with cash application teams to determine why invoices are short paid or overpaid and contact customers as needed.
- Work with other departments to resolve potential adjustment issues.
- Assist with month-end close in terms of adjustments and balance-related reports.
- Assist with other closing, reconciliation and reporting tasks as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 2-3 years of AR experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to perform work with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a pleasant, clear, and courteous manner.
- Willing to cooperate in the workload of department and display initiative.
- Ability to handle confidential information in discreet and professional manner.
