Accounting Assistant with Manufacturing/ Logistics experience

Our rapidly growing partner in the food manufacturing and distribution industry is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk Sr. to support accounts payable operations. This role is responsible for processing and recording financial transactions, monitoring accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain strong financial controls and support overall business operations. We are seeking someone with strong production/manufacturing and logistics knowledge who can work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process, verify, and enter accounts payable data with accuracy and timeliness

• Monitor accounts, maintain logs, and prepare routine reports

• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding account status

• Maintain organized files for one or more companies

• Support accounting functions related to production, manufacturing, and logistics operations

• Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with accounting coursework

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting principles

• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks (SAP experience a plus)

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy

• Ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues proactively
