Job Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Community Services to oversee the strategic leadership, development, and overall management of Palolo Chinese Homes community-based programs, including Adult Day Care, Home Care, and Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH) services. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive care aligned with the organizations mission while expanding services to meet the evolving needs of seniors living at home.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 - per year based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, public administration, or a related field
- 5 years of proven experience in healthcare or community-based services
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of local resources and support services
- Ability to collaborate with community partners and stakeholders
- Understanding of budget management and grant writing
- Experience in adult day care, home care, residential care, or long-term care, preferred but not necessary
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and oversight of Adult Day Care, Home Care, and ARCH programs.
- Develop and implement community service programs that address the needs of the population served
- Build partnerships with hospitals, community organizations, and referral sources to increase utilization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Represent the organization at community events and meetings
- Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant proposals to support community initiatives
- Stay current on trends and best practices in community services and make recommendations for strategic improvements
