The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring all products meet established standards before advancing through production. This role requires keen attention to detail, accurate measurement and documentation, and proactive communication of quality issues and recommendations to maintain exceptional product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (overtime as business requires).
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with company policies and specifications.
- Measure product dimensions using tools like rulers and tape measures.
- Reject non-conforming products or materials and document discrepancies.
- Notify supervisors of quality issues or production trends requiring attention.
- Write detailed inspection reports with findings, recommendations, or repair needs.
- Enter inspection data into ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and analysis.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 12 months of prior experience in fabrication, quality inspection, or possess the educational equivalent of a two-year degree
Requirements:
- Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening
