The EWP Yard Associate is responsible the safe and accurate handling of engineered wood products by receiving, cutting, staging, and loading materials per customer specifications. This physically demanding, outdoor role requires advanced forklift operation, power tool usage, precise measuring skills, and a strong focus on safety and product care to ensure high-quality deliveries and inventory maintenance.
Shift: Monday - Friday 11am - 7:30pm (overtime as business requires).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, pull, and stage engineered wood products (EWP) accurately and safely using advanced forklifts and manual handling techniques.
- Use cutting tools (e.g., chainsaws, circular saws) and tape measures to build EWP job packages to specification.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing material for quality, reporting and disposing of damaged items as needed.
- Maintain clean, dry, and covered outdoor storage areas to preserve product quality in varying weather conditions.
- Assist with manual loading/unloading of materials and support other team members in yard operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs and working outdoors for extended periods.

- Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution or operations-oriented environment preferred
