Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, energetic Marina Dock Hand to join our marina operations team. As a Marina Dock Hand, you will be a key point of contact for our boating guests and play an important role in ensuring their experience is safe, smooth, and enjoyable. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist boaters with docking and departure
- Handle lines, secure boats, and monitor slip assignments
- Operate fuel pumps and refuel boats safely
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe docks, slips, and marina grounds
- Perform routine trash and recycle removal
- Provide information about marina services and local waterways
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with light repairs as needed
- Observe and report safety or maintenance concerns
- Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all times
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Dependable and punctual with a flexible schedule
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Previous marina or boating experience is a plus but not required — training provided
- Candidate must be at least 17 years old
- Valid driver’s license preferred
