What are the responsibilities and job description for the registration clerk position at Palm Beach County?
Specialized clerical and public contact work involving coordination of the registration process for County programs and/or activities. Enrolls County residents into desired programs and maintains related records.
MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE:
Providing customer service in person and over the telephone (must specify on application); working with persons living with Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); using contact/call center software (must specify on application); using MS Word/Excel/Outlook
Also desirable:
Bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDED, AT-WILL POSITION.
Is aware of resource agencies and programs in the community and provides information relating to available programs and registration procedures, and enrolls interested individuals; maintains program information through maintenance of a computerized registration system.
QualificationsGraduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) year of general clerical work experience that involves public contact.
PREFERENCE FOR SIX (6)MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE:

Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
