We are seeking a dedicated and organized Production Training Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and efficiency of our production team by developing and implementing effective training programs. ****PLEASE NOTE**** This is NOT an office position as the Coordinator will be spending majority of time on the production floor observing employees, production process, and operating a forklift. Approximately 20% of time is spent in the office setting completing necessary paperwork, and the remining time on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with General manager and Human Resource Director to identify training needs and skills gaps within the production team.
- Develop comprehensive training programs, including instructional materials, presentations, and hands-on workshops tailored to production processes and equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Facilitate training sessions, using a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, using feedback and performance metrics to refine and improve training content.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and employee progress.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during training activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a training coordinator or similar role, particularly within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the Pallet Industry strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and safety protocols preferably in the pallet industry
- Forklift operator experience require
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to training challenges.

- Starting pay $23/hr. Salary from $65,000/yr after successful probation period.
