Offshore Lifeboat & Davit Service Specialist

Who you’ll report to: Virginia Service Manager

• Do you thrive diagnosing electro-hydraulic issues in the field—no two days the same?
• Can you read blueprints and manuals to pinpoint root causes fast?
• Are you meticulous with service reports and documentation?
• Do you communicate clearly with coordinators, managers, and teammates?
• Are you safety-first, travel-ready, and comfortable supporting production when called upon?

• Annual and 5-year services plus commissioning for lifeboats, davits/winches, and PALFINGER cranes.
• On-vessel troubleshooting, adjustment, repair, and overhaul of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Efficient issue resolution using technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Accurate, timely service reporting and job paperwork.
• Routine status updates to the Service Coordinator/Manager; occasional support to assembly/production.

• Practical experience with hydraulic and mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Marine or offshore industry exposure preferred.
• Solid theoretical grounding in cranes, hydraulics, and electrical systems used in marine/fishing environments.
• Willing to travel; committed to HSE-aligned safe practices.
• Clear English communication—written and verbal.
