Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter role based in Tukwila, WA. The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting phone and in-person interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions in partnership with hiring managers. Daily activities include posting job ads, leveraging online platforms and community outreach to build talent pipelines, and organizing hiring events or information sessions. The Recruiter will ensure an efficient and inclusive candidate experience by communicating clearly, scheduling interviews, and supporting background and reference checks. The role also includes maintaining accurate candidate records, tracking recruitment metrics, and collaborating with operations and HR to meet staffing needs while supporting PalAmerican’s culture and core values.
Qualifications
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers for a variety of roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates, hiring managers, and external partners in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Ability to use applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR databases, job boards, and social media platforms to attract and track candidates.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic employment laws, fair hiring practices, and non-discriminatory recruitment standards.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, network within the community, and represent the organization at job fairs or recruitment events.
- Previous recruiting or HR experience in security, protective services, or a similar service-based industry is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant HR or recruiting certifications being an advantage.
