Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community.
- The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions.
- This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems.
Skills & Qualifications :
Required Skill Sets:
- Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
- Experience with high level programming languages (e.g. Python).
- Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).
- Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
Desired Skill Sets:
- Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, C , etc).
- Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.
- Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.
- Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working across contract and location boundaries
- Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
- Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly through both oral and written communication.
Years of Experience Required (if any):Minimum of 6 (P3) or 8 (P4) years of prior engineering experience.
Education Level Required: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
