Job Title: Cloud Architect
Location: North Carolina or South Carolina
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions. This hands-on role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, monitoring, and collaboration with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Implement IaC using Terraform and scripting (Python, UNIX shell, YAML, JSON).
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Support DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Artifactory).
- Collaborate with stakeholders and document processes, sharing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 10 years technical systems experience, 5 years in cloud architecture (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux & Windows, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS), and CI/CD frameworks.
- Strong scripting/automation skills; experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace).
- SaaS or regulated industry experience and cloud/security certifications are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible hours and collaborative environment; remote requires reliable internet.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
