Medical Receptionist
Full-Time | $18-$20/hr | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Location: Troy, MO 63379 (occasional travel to Chesterfield, MO 63017)

We are seeking a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to support front-office operations at our Troy, MO location. This role is essential to creating a positive patient experience while keeping appointments, records, and daily administrative tasks organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out, register new patients, and collect copays and deposits.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage follow-up visits.
- Prepare patient paperwork, maintain medical records, and update electronic charts.
- Use EMR systems to support daily administrative workflows.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and facility guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
- Help maintain an organized front office and assist with preparing examination rooms.
- Contact patients about earlier appointment openings to optimize schedules.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of administrative experience.
- At least one year of hands-on EMR experience.
- Healthcare facility experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
