The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors, with a focus on laundry operations and general housekeeping duties within our post-acute care facility. This role is essential in ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents while upholding infection control standards. Responsibilities and Duties: Ensure a consistent supply of clean linen for the proper care and comfort of all residents. Maintain all linens in good repair by promptly removing any items with holes and/or stains from service. Perform day-to-day janitorial functions, which may include: Cleaning resident rooms and recreational areas. Sanitizing and polishing bathrooms. Cleaning windows and mirrors. Sweeping, mopping, dusting, buffing, and disinfecting floors. Removing trash and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Deodorize and disinfect according to established policies and protocols. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
