About The Role
Packsize is looking for a self-motivated Billing Associate to join our cohesive accounting team. You will work collaboratively to ensure proper invoicing processes are followed accurately and timely. In this role, you will interact with customers to answer questions, settle disputes, and perform reviews to ensure proper accounting. You will also partner with other Packsize teams to ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition as well as timely submission of customer invoices. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this position. You will be an essential part to ensure that Packsize can continue to operate in an innovative, problem solving, solution focused team environment. The role reports to the Billing Team Lead.

The salary range for this role is $55K-62K USD; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.

What You'll Do
- Process daily customer invoices
- Respond to customer inquiries and issues related to billing
- Foster effective communication with internal employees and customers regarding purchase orders, invoices, and payment status
- Perform month-end close tasks as needed, which may include accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reviewing various reports to ensure billing completeness and accuracy
- Review and analyze contracts for billing and revenue recognition
- Assist with external audit support
- Perform other accounting-related duties and projects as assigned
What You'll Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with basic accounting software programs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to take initiative, think creatively, and solve complex problems
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Basware, Microsoft Office, DOMO, Slack, and Zoom (experience preferred but not required)
- Reside in or near Salt Lake City, Utah
- Ability to work in an office environment; sitting for extended periods and moving about the office
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
- Repetitive movements
- Work in office 4 days per week
