We are recruiting for detail oriented and highly organized Payroll Manager to join a Health Care organization operating in multiple states. This position will be based remotely in Ca.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for 900 employees across both bi-weekly and weekly schedules
- Responsible compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Responsible for employee payroll records such as taxes withheld and deducts (401(k), benefits.
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate and timely input of employee data into payroll system
- Continuously review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
- Manage and train payroll team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information
- Develop and implement effective payroll policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries
- Other projects assigned by CFO and Controller
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study (accounting, finance, health care, human resources, etc.)
- 5 years of progressive payroll experience
- 3 years of leadership experience
- Proven success in processing efficiency
- Knowledge of Rippling payroll software preferred
- Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly growing environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll and payroll tax principles, regulations and procedures
- Payroll certification highly desired
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
