Full Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Final Assembly Mechanic to assemble and prepare equipment for completion. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and the ability to read blueprints and follow assembly specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final assembly of mechanical equipment and components
- Install and connect hydraulic and electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools and personal mechanic tools to complete assembly work
- Operate overhead cranes or other lifting equipment to position components
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and proper operation
- Identify and resolve mechanical assembly issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with mechanical assembly, repair, or equipment installation
- Crane operation experience
- Must have personal mechanic tools, including a rolling toolbox with a basic tool setup
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
