About the Role
Our growing Managed Services team is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to join our Beaverton office. This is not a traditional project coordination role. We're looking for someone with a strong technical background who has hands-on experience implementing, deploying, or supporting IT infrastructure within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
The ideal candidate understands the technical side of managed IT services and can effectively coordinate complex customer implementations while serving as a bridge between customers, engineers, technical account managers, and sales teams. If you've worked as a Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Network Engineer, or in another technical infrastructure role before moving into project coordination or project management, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do

Manage multiple customer implementation, infrastructure, and server deployment projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion.

Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with Technical Account Managers, Project Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Sales Engineers to ensure successful project execution.

Coordinate server deployments, cloud migrations, network implementations, and managed IT projects while understanding technical requirements and project dependencies.

Organize and facilitate project meetings, document action items, and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Proactively identify project risks, resolve roadblocks, and manage customer expectations.

Prepare and maintain Statements of Work, implementation documentation, project plans, and technical documentation.

Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Support change management initiatives and continuously improve project workflows and implementation processes.

Facilitate knowledge transfer and project handoffs between engineering and support teams.

Utilize project management tools to track resources, milestones, and project progress.

Ensure projects meet quality standards, documentation requirements, and customer expectations.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.

5 years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is required.

Strong hands-on technical background supporting, implementing, or deploying IT infrastructure.

Previous experience in a technical role such as Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar is highly preferred.

3-5 years of experience coordinating or managing technical infrastructure or managed services projects.

Strong understanding of server deployments, Microsoft environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, networking, storage, backup solutions, and managed IT services.

Ability to confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while understanding technical implementation challenges.

Experience managing project timelines, Statements of Work, project documentation, risks, budgets, and customer communications.

Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
