Pacific International is exclusively retained with a discrete manufacturer in the industrials sector. They are searching for an engineering leader to drive process improvements across existing equipment and lead the integration of new equipment and systems.
The organization is seeking an Engineering and Plant Automation Manager to oversee process and plant engineering at a key site during an important period of expansion.
Job Description
- Lead a dynamic team of engineers and technicians overseeing day-to-day equipment operations, capital projects, and automation integration
- Improve equipment reliability and standardize processes.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive excellence.
- Partner with maintenance teams
- Conduct root-cause analyses for production losses or safety events, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Manage the engagement, performance, and professional development of both direct and indirect reports.
- Maintain a constructive work environment, support conflict resolution, and provide guidance as needed.
- Support new equipment acquisition and integration.
- Support and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree within an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Systems, Mechatronics, or Mechanical preferred).
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Experience leading troubleshooting activities for automated equipment / robotics.
- Ability to operate effectively within, and provide support to, a high-volume 24/7 manufacturing environment.
