Pacific Event Services (PES) delivers polished, high-level A/V production for conferences, galas, and large-scale social events across Southern California. We work closely with clients, venues, and production partners to bring technically complex events to life with clarity, professionalism, and precision.
The Role:
We are seeking a Technical Production Manager to lead technical planning and execution for live events, including conferences and galas. This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for translating event goals into well-executed technical solutions across audio, lighting, and video.
The Technical Production Manager works directly with clients, venues, and internal teams to ensure events are technically sound, well-coordinated, and executed at a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical planning and execution for conferences, galas, and large-scale events
- Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, venues, and internal teams
- Oversee audio, lighting, and video systems design and implementation
- Coordinate technical logistics from advance through live event execution
- Ensure production quality meets client expectations and venue requirements
- Support on-site execution to ensure seamless technical delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to align technical plans with operational workflows
Candidate Requirements:
- Direct experience managing technical production for live events
- Deep knowledge of audio, lighting, and video systems
- Experience working in hotel and venue-based AV environments
- Senior-level background at Encore/PSAV, Five Star, or similar production companies strongly preferred
