SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• 10 years of technical project management experience, specifically leading large-scale Data Center Infrastructure deployment, site bring-up, and lifecycle operations.

• End-to-end masterly of data center lifecycle stages (IMAC-D: Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission), including complex builds, expansions, and migrations.

• Deep cross-functional coordination experience balancing hardware, software, and operations teams across multiple dependencies.

• Strong proficiency in infrastructure program governance, data center planning, capacity forecasting, and observability.

• Hands-on familiarity with data center operational tools and core ITIL processes (Asset Management, CMDB, and Change Management).

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2).

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Practical experience optimizing operational efficiency via automation and workflow adjustments in a dynamic infrastructure environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Technical Project Manager with a decade of expertise to drive large-scale Data Center Infrastructure programs at our Santa Clara, CA site. Operating in a high-impact hybrid capacity, the incumbent will orchestrate complex deployment, migration, and decommissioning lifecycles (IMAC-D) within highly visible environments. This critical architect of execution will bridge the gap between hardware, software, and operations teams—translating high-level strategic enterprise goals into robust, scalable, and highly efficient infrastructure reality.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate and execute comprehensive, actionable project plans tracking critical paths, resource allocations, and site dependencies for global data center deployments and site bring-ups.

• Lead and govern cross-functional workstreams across hardware, software, and engineering operations teams to ensure flawless sync during critical migration, build-out, and decommissioning phases.

• Systematically evaluate deployment workflows to isolate operational bottlenecks, implementing scalable process improvements and automation to elevate infrastructure lifecycle efficiency.

• Oversee data center asset lifecycles by maintaining tight integration with CMDB, change management, and configuration tracking mechanisms to ensure flawless compliance and observability.

• Serve as the primary communication bridge for technical initiatives, translating complex data center delivery metrics into clear, strategic progress updates for both engineering leads and executive stakeholders.
