SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
✔️ 10 years of Embedded Linux firmware development using C/C
✔️ Strong OpenWrt development (packages, feeds, Kconfig, patch management)
✔️ Linux Kernel Networking Stack with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, MAP-T, RIPv2, and OSPF
✔️ WiFi 6/6E/7 (802.11ax/802.11be) firmware development on Qualcomm IPQ and/or Broadcom platforms

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to support the development of next-generation residential gateway and router platforms for large-scale broadband deployments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Embedded Linux, OpenWrt, Linux kernel networking, and WiFi 6/6E/7 technologies. This role requires hands-on firmware development, architecture-level design, performance optimization, and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance networking solutions.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
✔️ Design, develop, enhance, and maintain embedded firmware for residential gateway/router platforms using Embedded Linux and OpenWrt.
✔️ Implement and optimize Linux kernel networking features, WiFi 6/6E/7 capabilities, routing protocols, and broadband networking functionality.
✔️ Perform board bring-up, device tree configuration, kernel module development, and low-level debugging of firmware and networking issues.
✔️ Troubleshoot kernel panics, watchdog resets, memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and system stability issues using advanced debugging tools.
✔️ Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with firmware, cloud, QA, hardware, and vendor teams throughout the development lifecycle.
