SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain

• Direct, hands-on experience managing and documenting ServiceNow migration deliverables

• Proven track record analyzing and documenting Akamai-ServiceNow integration patterns

• Strong expertise in System & Data Analysis, including data mapping, lineage, and technical system specifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for extracting, manipulating, and validating complex financial datasets

• Deep understanding of core Payments infrastructure, transactions, and banking data flows

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and cloud infrastructure architectures

• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to turn complex technical workflows into clear, audit-ready documentation

• Strong stakeholder management skills to sit comfortably between infrastructure engineers and business leads

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an elite Senior Business Systems Analyst for a 12 month, fully remote contract to spearhead critical integration and migration documentation. This role centers heavily on analyzing and documenting the Akamai-ServiceNow integration while supporting broader ServiceNow migration deliverables within a complex corporate ecosystem. Operating within the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) sector, the ideal candidate will blend deep technical data analysis—leveraging heavy SQL and payments domain knowledge—with premium-tier technical documentation skills to ensure seamless, compliant project execution.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the comprehensive documentation of ServiceNow migration deliverables, translating complex structural moves into crisp, functional business and technical specifications

• Analyze, map, and document the data flows and integration touchpoints between Akamai and ServiceNow to optimize infrastructure workflows

• Conduct rigorous system and data analysis utilizing advanced SQL queries to validate backend payments data, isolate processing anomalies, and map system integrations

• Bridge the gap between enterprise infrastructure teams and business stakeholders, gathering requirements to build detailed data lineage, process maps, and technical schemas

• Ensure all system integration designs and data analysis methodologies strictly align with the stringent regulatory compliance and risk standards of the banking industry
