SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• Proficient hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Server, and Pipelines)

• Proven architecture and implementation expertise across Azure Cloud platforms

• Solid working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for security and identity management

• Multi-cloud exposure with deep knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong track record in Cloud Discovery and executing on-premises to cloud migrations

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Relevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)

• Familiarity with financial services compliance, cloud governance, and security frameworks

• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder communication and mentoring engineering teams

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Architect with 9 to 13 years of enterprise experience to join our dynamic team supporting onsite in Chicago, IL. This critical role focuses on designing, implementing, and securing robust, scalable cloud solutions that accelerate the client’s digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, seamlessly bridging the gap between cloud strategy, Azure DevOps pipeline optimization, and multi-cloud infrastructure governance.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms to meet strict financial services business requirements.

• Oversee development, release management, and continuous integration activities utilizing Azure DevOps Pipelines to drive high operational efficiency.

• Lead the migration of complex on-premises applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to live business operations and strict adherence to governance.

• Implement, manage, and enforce cloud security, identity access management via Azure AD, and regulatory compliance best practices.

• Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define the long-term cloud strategy, manage cloud resources, and optimize infrastructure for cost and performance.
