SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

• 5 years of experience in mobile application testing with a focus on iOS platforms

• Strong hands-on engineering experience using Xcode and XCUITest framework (Swift preferred)

• Proven expertise in API and integration testing utilizing tools such as Charles Proxy

• Background in designing, building, and maintaining mobile test automation frameworks from scratch

• Solid execution experience in functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience with Android testing platforms and UI Automator/Appium

• Familiarity with modern, YAML-based automation frameworks (e.g., Maestro)

• Hands-on experience with mobile accessibility (a11y) testing standards

• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and leading localized test strategies

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an elite Mobile Test Automation Engineer/Lead to drive high-impact mobile application initiatives out of Woonsocket, RI. Sitting within the core digital engineering division, this hands-on lead will be responsible for defining mobile testing strategies, architecting robust automation frameworks, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-performing iOS applications. The ideal candidate will blend advanced Swift/XCUITest scripting with a strong architectural mindset to accelerate automation coverage and release velocity.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and scale end-to-end automation frameworks for mobile applications, with a primary focus on iOS platforms.

• Develop, execute, and maintain stable automated test scripts using XCUITest and Swift, integrating them seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Perform deep-dive integration and network traffic testing using Charles Proxy to validate API payloads, performance, and backend data syncs.

• Lead test planning, strategy formulation, and test case design while establishing modern QA standards and exploratory testing methodologies across the lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development, product, and DevOps teams to isolate defects early, accelerate bug-fix cycles, and champion overall product quality.
