Pay Range: $30.00/hr. to $31.00/hr. on W2 | $35.71/hr. to $40.00/hr. on C2C

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

✔️6 years of hands-on automation testing experience using Java and Selenium

✔️Strong expertise in API Testing with tools like Postman and SoapUI

✔️Domain experience within the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) industry

✔️Framework implementation and execution experience using TestNG

✔️Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and Agile frameworks

Secondary (Good to Have):

✔️Strong coordination skills with the ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration

✔️Robust analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities

✔️Sharp attention to detail with automated regression suites and report generation

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Tester with 7 years of experience to join our team onsite in Raleigh, NC. Operating within the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) domain, the ideal candidate will ensure the quality, scalability, and performance of critical financial applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust automated test scripts, validating intricate APIs, and working alongside cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality, secure business capabilities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Java and Selenium, integrating them smoothly into TestNG testing frameworks.

✔️Execute thorough end-to-end API testing to validate payload data, service contracts, and system integrations using Postman and SoapUI.

✔️Analyze complex financial business requirements and technical specifications to build comprehensive, structured test plans and cases.

✔️Actively participate in all core Agile and Scrum ceremonies, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to identify defects early in the lifecycle.

✔️Track quality metrics, manage automated regression runs, document detailed test logs, and effectively communicate test results and system risks to management.
