PacAero - Mission is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling used in our precision manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting production through the development and maintenance of high-quality tooling, dies, fixtures, and precision components.

PacAero - Mission is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling used in our precision manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting production through the development and maintenance of high-quality tooling, dies, fixtures, and precision components.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and precision components.
- Perform manual machining operations including milling, turning, and grinding.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues that affect production, quality, or uptime.
- Modify tooling to improve performance and longevity.
- Support press setup and die adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in the machine shop.
Qualifications:
Required
- Experience as a Tool & Die Maker or in a similar tooling role.
- Strong manual machining skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Values must align with established team culture and contribute to team camaraderie.
- Progressive die experience.
- Multi-stage deep drawing experience.
- CNC experience.
- Experience in high-precision manufacturing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
- Be part of a quality-conscious manufacturing team.
- Work in a hands-on role with meaningful impact on production.
- Support continuous improvement and problem-solving in a precision environment.
