We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Closing Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Provide individualized support to students, focusing on their unique learning needs and promoting their academic growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support children's development and address any concerns related to child welfare.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Documented proof of 2,500 hours working with children
- Ability to obtain required clearances
- Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention techniques.
- Proficient in behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions among students.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and children.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and the ability to apply them in a classroom setting.
- Experience teaching physical education or incorporating physical activity into daily routines is a plus.
