About Us.
We are currently seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join our expanding team. This role involves working on a variety of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and well-organized, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems for commercial and residential customers.
- Diagnose plumbing issues, obtain necessary replacement parts, and calibrate systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Clearly communicate diagnoses and repair needs to customers.
- Travel to job sites within the service area and coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules and communicate any delays.
- Install and maintain commercial plumbing systems in compliance with trade and building codes.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Take initiative and lead job sites when required.
- Train and mentor junior plumbers as needed.
- Maintain company vehicle in good working condition.
- Identify and report opportunities for additional business, such as system upgrades, service contracts, and new fixture installations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Texas Plumbing License (Journeyman or Master).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Professional, well-presented, and customer-oriented demeanor.
- Must have anacceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to read and perform calculations, input data accurately, and analyze information.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent driving to job sites.
- Regular walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
- Work crawlspaces, basements, trenches, on rooftops and inside attics.
- Occasional pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
