We are looking for a committed Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. Employee is paid per visit
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and other therapeutic interventions.

Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and equipment use.

Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean and safe condition.

Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
