We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier/Guest Services Associate to join our winery team. This role is the first and last point of contact for guests, responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing transactions in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with people, has a positive attitude and takes pride in creating a memorable guest experience.
Essential Job Duties
- Welcome customers to the winery with warm greetings and a positive attitude.
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using a POS system.
- Verify customers’ age in compliance with alcoholic sales regulations.
- Answer customers’ questions and provide recommendations on wine selections.
- Restock merchandise and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the winery.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Basic math skills with the ability to count back change during cash transactions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comprehensive knowledge of different types of wine, Missouri varietals, regions and winemaking processes desired.
