TITLE: Weight Room Attendant
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the Weight Room Attendant works year round attending to the high school weight room.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Opens the weight room for any currently enrolled student who wishes to weight train to improve their personal health, well-being, and/or to prepare for the next athletic season.
Teach proper technique, safety, etiquette, and a plethora of differentiated exercises.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current member of the Oxford Education Association.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is generally performed primarily indoors and predominantly in a school classroom.
