Job Summary: Oxford Athletic Club is the most extensive private health and fitness club in the Pittsburgh area and is nationally recognized by the Health & Fitness Association (HFA).
We are currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Supervisor to service the Front Desk/Pro Shop at Oxford Athletic Club for daytime, evening and weekend shifts. Must work at least 1 weekend shift. This is a full time position and requires working at least 30 hours a week. The main duties of this role are to greet members and their guests with a smile while maintaining a dynamic and energetic personality. We want someone who can engage with members and ensure their experience at our club is a positive one! While monitoring club traffic, work to maintain a smooth and efficient execution of all Front Desk functions and have a thorough understanding of all club procedures, functions, programs and facilities. Collaborate and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere to assist in building member retention and to welcome prospective members. Assist in the day-to-day Pro Shop operations.

Essential Job Duties:
- Outstanding Customer Service Skills.
- Exhibits a “Member Friendly and Member First” mentality and ‘actions without excuses”.
- Meet and greet every member entering and exiting the Club with a smile and warm welcome, answering incoming phone calls. Assist membership with any admin needs.
- Provide a high level of personalized attention to members. Staff on duty should be constantly monitoring the area and making eye contact with members.
- Assists/manages Front Desk and Pro Shop schedule
- Hosts monthly front desk meetings and creates an agenda for each meeting
- Must have the energy to stand for up to 6-8 hours per shift to keep up with the energy of our club and be comfortable operating the Front Desk for 6-8 hour shifts.
- Monitors check-in process to ensure only active members and their guests are accessing the facility and implements any notes that appear on members’ accounts.
- Assists with and promote special events and programs to the Club Membership by keeping current with Club events, flyers, and meeting information. Drive initiatives and campaigns.
- Resolve any Member issues through effective customer service skills and by referring issues to the appropriate manager.
- Connect with managers to share important department information.
- Enforces current OAC Club and departmental policies by keeping current with changes and utilizing effective communication skills.
- Performs first aid and emergency responder techniques by maintaining CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Must be aware of appropriate emergency response and implement procedures/responses appropriately when MOD.
- Operate computer POS with facility operations software.
- Supports supervisors and fellow staff in providing quality programs and services to our members as well as incorporating an atmosphere where we are constantly striving to exceed our expectations.
- Responsible for scheduling employees.
- Responsible for Training the front desk employees.
- Must participate in our Manager on Duty Program.
- Must work at least one day on the weekend.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Front Desk Manager, Director of Operations or President.

Required Education and Experience:

Preferred Education and Experience:
