Under the direction of the Party Host/Coordinator, the successful candidate will run sports and pool birthday parties on weekends only. The successful candidate must display excellent customer service skills and be available most weekends as a condition of employment.
This person will also work in the KidsZone on weekdays. We are seeking dependable and energetic caregivers interested in working with children 3 months through 13 years of age beginning. Day and evening shifts are available from Monday through Thursday (9:00am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-7:30pm). Saturday morning shifts available (8:00am-12:00pm).
Job Duties
- Manage child care appointments and check-ins.
- Provide a safe and clean environment for children.
- Direct supervision of children while caring for their social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Interacting/playing with children.
- Responsible for assisting with “potty” training.
- Mediating conflicts between children and reporting issues and behaviors to parents.
- Supervising cleaning and disinfecting the childcare area.
A Party Hosts MAIN focus should be the guest of honor! Party hosts should be the crown jewels of our teammates. They must be comfortable with kids, they must be comfortable performing, and they must be FUN! Great party hosts love interacting with people and are not wallflowers. They are performers and peacocks and help elevate the fun of the party.
Party hours are between approximately 12pm and 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Examples of duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assisting with the set up and cleanup of party rooms
- Running games/sports for guests/children throughout their event
- Greeting all party guests and signs in children for various parties· Setting up and cleaning the party room.
- Making sure the party room is prepared for the parties with the paper products, drinks, pizzas, tablecloths, etc.
- Entertaining the party goers during their party· Making sure parents know rules/regulations and sign waivers·
- Assisting in daily cleaning of all areas
Education & Training:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 2-3 years experience working directly with children in daycare, preschool or equivalent is preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Applicant must be a dynamic, high energy individual committed to children’s safety and fun while being professional.
- Able to pass background check and obtain CPR certification.
