Breakfast Aide- 1 hour daily

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Jordan Bank School as a Breakfast Aide. This part-time position involves working one hour daily from 8:30am to 9:30am to support the breakfast program, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure that the breakfast area is clean, organized, and welcoming for students.
• Assist students with food selection and promote healthy choices.
• Monitor student behavior during breakfast to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and report any needs to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive breakfast experience for all students.
• Assist in clean-up and proper storage of leftover food items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or working with children is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Availability to work one hour daily during breakfast hours.
