Overview
Oxford Academy Preschool is seeking a dependable and caring Floater/Closer Teacher to support our classrooms throughout the day and ensure a smooth, safe transition during closing hours. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with various age groups in a nurturing childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Lead and Assistant Teachers as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and daily routines
- Actively engage with children through play and learning activities
- Follow all safety, supervision, and hygiene policies
- Report to the front office each day for classroom assignment
- Help close the center, ensuring all rooms are clean and secure
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different classrooms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and assist in emergency situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 2:00PM - 6:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
