Order Picker-1st and 2nd Shift

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick and Pack all types of sales orders, DOP’s, and work orders in a highly efficient manner (use of barcode scanners)
• Reconcile cycle count variances.
• Ability to develop and configure part packaging requirements.
• Receive inbound packing slips (supplier and DOP’s) (use of barcode scanners).
• Review parts orders, engineering packages to assure safe handling, cost efficient, and appropriate packaging.
• Knowledge of shipping software (UPS Worldwide, FedEx, and LTL)
• Forklift, Order picker, pallet jack experience required
• Willingness to assist in other departments as necessary

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 - 3 years manufacturing parts, distribution, inventory or shipping experience preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in Windows, including MS Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint;
• Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.
• Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• This job requires the use of basic mathematics
• Some basic knowledge of blueprint reading & use of measuring devices for inspection.
