Job Description
The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator performs sewing and assembly operations on product components using industrial sewing machines and related production equipment. The operator follows production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards to produce consistent, defect-free products. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble product components.
Sew fabric, webbing, and reinforcement materials according to production specifications.
Inspect materials and finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
Maintain production quotas while ensuring product quality standards are met.
Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and assembly instructions.
Perform routine machine setup, threading, adjustments, and minor maintenance.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or production issues.
Trim excess materials and prepare finished products for shipping.
Maintain accurate production records as required.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous industrial sewing experience preferred but not required.
Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and related manufacturing equipment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work with repetitive hand movements and maintain focus throughout the workday.
Basic mechanical aptitude for machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and production documents.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers for sewing and material handling.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with production equipment and moderate noise levels.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
