Owen Daniels is currently partnered with a world leader in aerospace technology. They are a global brand who covers the full lifecycle of aircraft components, including design, manufacturing, and in-service support. They are currently seeking a Contract Specialist for their Miami facility to aid with commercial contract negotiations, proposal, risk management and performance review for high-value aerospace contracts.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation of contract terms and conditions, providing guidance on contract change proposals and challenges throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle.
• Act as a point of contact with customers and aid in customer proposals/presentations.
• Recommend contract changes to conform with company policy and mitigate risk.
• Analyze short and long-term agreements, including performance against delivery, pricing and other contractual terms.
• Aid in the bid process, helping develop responses for request for proposals and prepare proposals in line with company guidelines.
• Investigate contractual complaints/escalations with the goal of resolutions.
• Serve as a focal point to internal and external stakeholders for the assigned contracts.

Essential/Desirable Experience Required

• Experienced in a contract management position in a commercial setting.
• Confident reviewing and provide guidance on contractual proposals
• Strong knowledge of general contractual risk and legislation.
