Site Quality Manager

About the Role
This position will take responsibility for the Quality function and QMS, serving as the site point of contact and lead on AS9100 audits and QE with the goal of elevating quality across a low volume, high value environment. This is a key position, relying on cross functional collaboration and hands on engineering to elevate the business unit.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for site quality and compliance across manufacturing and MRO activities
- Lead, implement, and maintain the site Quality Management System to ensure compliance with AS9100, AS9102, and applicable regulatory standards
- Act as site quality representative for compliance with government, military, FAA, EASA and customer quality requirements
- Manage day-to-day operation of the Quality Assurance team across production, inspection, calibration, and quality engineering
- Establish and sustain a quality culture centered on root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action, and continuous improvement
- Lead structured problem-solving using RCCA, 8D, 5 Whys, fishbone, A3, DMAIC, and other methodologies
- Maintain and analyze quality performance data to support control, improvement, and management reporting
- Provide organizational structure through training, coaching, and succession planning to build a high-performing team
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Six Sigma Green Belt a plus
- Certified Lead Auditor or equivalent preferred
Skills & Experience
- 5 years' progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment (machining/assembly); aerospace experience essential
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and ISO-based quality systems
- Strong experience with root cause analysis, corrective action systems, and structured problem-solving
- Knowledge of APQP and SPC/statistical improvement methods; Power BI a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database tools; SAP, Q-Pulse, CAPPS experience preferred

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
