DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the resort, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks
- Maintain RV sites, utilities, and hookups to ensure they are safe and fully operational
- Inspect and maintain resort amenities, including the clubhouse, pool area, bathhouses, laundry facilities, pickleball courts, playground, and common areas
- Complete work orders promptly and professionally
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary
- Maintain landscaped areas by assisting with mowing, trimming, irrigation, and general groundskeeping
- Ensure roads, sidewalks, and common areas remain clean and free of hazards
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed
- Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely and responsibly
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and preventative maintenance
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
- Provide friendly, professional service while interacting with guests and residents
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, RV resort, hotel, campground, or property maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and an on-call schedule as needed
- Pool maintenance certification (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance
- Equipment operation experience (mowers, utility vehicles, power tools)
